Greece - The Flotilla Set Sail Summer 2004

Sailing is for me not only exciting but also a very relaxing way to spend a holiday.
It also means that you get to see all sorts of beautiful small ports, often situated as many of these were on lovely little islands that one would never see on an ordinary holiday.
On a flotilla holiday there is usually a different port every night and the boat crews often then meet and eat at a local taverna or restaurant which gives the holiday a nice variety. With both Neilson and Sunsail offering a good range of holidays there are a large number of options to choose from. This year’s flotilla will be in Croatia.
More of which in September.
Malaysia 2004

Patsie and I were fortunate to visit Malaysia during the Advantage Travel conference and took the opportunity not just to see Kuala Lumpur but also the beautiful island of Langkawi.
Kuala Lumpur is one of the most pleasant of the far eastern capitals to visit; it has many similar characteristics to Hong Kong and Singapore but is quite different and is certainly in my opinion the most friendly.
The shopping is to die for with costs much less than its competitors, with Hotel prices at the regions most competitive it is a great stopover destination and is highly recommended as is Malaysian Airlines, the national carrier.
Langkawi is the most delightful holiday destination; we stayed at the famous Datai which give luxury at an un-surpassed level making it one of the finest hotels in the world.
