Managing Director and founder of Sam Smith Travel, has 40 years of operating both retail and business travel, running his own agency for 15 years, together with 7 years as a Tour Operator. He is also Consul for Norway, The Netherlands and Tunisia and is currently Chairman of ABTA in South Wales

With over 20 years at the same office in Cowbridge, Sue has unparalleled experience of both leisure and corporate travel. Sue is also one of a very few travel agents who are ‘Aussie Specialists’ having passed the Australian Tourist Commission examinations

Married to Paul we have 2 lovely little girls' Jessica and Rosie.I have been in the travel industry since 1980. After completing a BEC National Diploma course in Travel & Tourism, I was employed at Cardiff's well-established travel agency Red Dragon Travel. After my fist day in the agency I knew this is what I wanted to do, I loved it! After 7years I wanted to further my career and was employed as an assistant manager in Exchange Travel and then 2 years later took an opportunity of a position with the British Airways Travel Shop in Cardiff. Having worked my way to Senior Travel Consultant I was promoted to Supervisor and offered the role of office Manager.
I declined as I was happiest dealing with people not spread sheets! After 7 years I decided to take a slight change of direction and give business travel a go! I must have the 7-year itch! I went on to work for John Cory Business Travel, Hogg Robinson BTI and then World Travel Direct from where I moved with Neil, Bev, Angharad and Bobby to where we are now, in Cowbridge still doing the job that I really enjoy doing.

I have worked in travel since 1997. Experience in all aspects of corporate travel, I liaise on a daily basis with corporate clients dealing complex flight itineraries, hotel bookings,car hire services and National Rail. I am also an Australian and Hong Kong specialist.(must go there one day)
